In golf-course terms, TalonsCove is a relative baby, having opened in 2004. And while there are golf courses in the U.S. older than the state of Utah itself, TalonsCove has made quite an impact in its short existence.
By our second season (2005) we hosted the Utah Open. And for an encore, we played host again in 2006!
Our architect, Gene Bates, is proud that we've twice hosted the Utah Open in such a short time, saying, “The fact that the Utah Open was played at TalonsCove more than once so early in its life makes a pretty significant statement to the quality of the course.”
